JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) The Missouri Department of Corrections announced in a Thursday press release that an inmate has died at the Jefferson City Correctional Center. The DOC said Mark Immekus died at 9:56 a.m. Thursday. He was 66. The DOC said he was serving a 60-year sentence for assault, armed-criminal action and felonious restraint.
