Living Windows, Christmas parade affects street closures in Downtown Jefferson City

There will be parking restrictions in Downtown Jefferson City for events on Friday and Saturday, according to a press release from the Jefferson City Police Department.

The Living Windows event will be 5:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday. Parking will not be allowed on High Street between Monroe and Jefferson streets. The roadway will be blocked at 5 p.m. Friday. High Street will reopen after the event.

The Christmas parade will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The parade route is east on High Street from Missouri Boulevard to Lafayette Street. The parade will then travel north on Lafayette Street to Capitol Avenue. The parade will then head west on East Capitol and end at the Truman Building parking lots.
