COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The University of Missouri System leadership spoke about Danny Santulli during the Board of Curators meeting.

Santulli is the Mizzou student who suffered alcohol poisoning in October during a fraternity hazing incident.

Dr. Mun Choi says that the university takes this matter very seriously.

"But we have to do, all of us, a better job of training, educating, and also understand that we are going to hold individuals accountable," said Choi.

Ryan Delanty and Thomas Shultz are charged with felony hazing and misdemeanors of supplying liquor to a minor or intoxicated person. Shultz also faces a felony for tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.

Shultz is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
