How to Enter
Every month, one Mid-Missouri teacher will receive $1,000 to support their classroom. Here’s how it works:
- Write a short essay (500 words or less) explaining what your classroom needs and how the funds would help.
- Our KMIZ team selects five finalists.
- Monthly co-sponsors vote to choose the winner.
- The winning teacher receives $1,000 and is featured on our news broadcast.

Mark Your Calendar
Submissions open on the 1st of each month and close on the 20th. Finalists are announced by the 25th, and the winner is revealed on-air at the end of the month.
