NEW ORLEANS (KMIZ)

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid took questions from reporters Tuesday morning as he prepares his team to compete for yet another Super Bowl title.

Reid will spoke at the team's hotel. Several players, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will also take questions following Reid's conference.

The Chiefs are preparing to try and win a third straight Super Bowl title on Sunday, this time against the Philadelphia Eagles. No other NFL team has won three titles in a row. The Chiefs beat the Eagles two years ago in Super Bowl 57, a franchise Reid coached before coming to Kansas City.

Reid said he appreciated his team's veteran leadership not only to get the team ready for the game, but also how it helped them navigate the season.

"That's why I respect our guys so much in them being willing to share with others," Reid said. "And it's not only the experience of coming to this ,but it's when we had injures, guys welcomed guys in and even though it might be your position, you welcome in and you get them up to date to help us win football games."

Running back Kareem Hunt is one of those players that both came onto the team mid-season but is playing in his first Super Bowl. The running back was let go from the Chiefs in 2019 when the team says he was dishonest with them about an assault allegation made against him. Hunt played several seasons in Cleveland after that, and got picked up by the Chiefs in 2024 when starter Isiah Pacheco got hurt.

"It's where it all started," Hunt said of the Chiefs picking him up. "I got so much love for the community, for the Chiegs organization, the players, the coaches, and honestly, it's like home."

The Chiefs are practicing this week at Yulman Stadium at Tulane University. The school's old stadium hosted Super Bowl 4, the first such game for the Big Easy and the first Super Bowl win for the Chiefs franchise.
