Mizzou collects fourth transfer portal pledge of offseason

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Women's Basketball has added a fourth student-athlete to its list of transfer portal additions.

Former FAU guard Sydney Mains announced on social media that she is transferring to Mizzou, following one season with the Owls. The Tennessee native played for Jennifer Sullivan at FAU, who recently reunited with head coach Kellie Harper as an assistant on her staff.

The 5-foot-10 guard appeared in just three games during her freshman campaign, due to a season-ending injury. In those three contests, she posted a career-best six points against Mercer on Nov. 9 and four rebounds at Florida on Nov. 4.

As a high school prospect, Mains was a two-time state champion at Knoxville Catholic and a three-time finalist for Tennessee Miss Basketball.

Mains joins Saniah Tyler, Jordana Reisma and Shannon Dowell as the four players to transfer to the team this offseason.
