Mizzou forward, Jefferson City alum enters transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A second Mizzou Women's Basketball player has officially entered the transfer portal. A team spokesperson confirmed to ABC 17 Sports on Wednesday that Sarah Linthacum has entered the portal, following her junior season.

The Jefferson City High School alum scored 13 points and grabbed 25 rebounds in 23 appearances during the 2023-24 season, averaging 4.5 minutes per game. In her career, Linthacum was in Mizzou's starting lineup six times and recorded 73 points and 99 rebounds over 68 games in a Tiger uniform.

Linthacum joins Mama Dembele as the two Tigers who have entered the transfer portal, following Mizzou's 11-19 campaign. Dembele recently committed to South Florida back on March 22.

Linthacum was a third generation college athlete at Mizzou and played this season alongside her sisters Micah and Hannah Linthacum.
