It was a back and forth battle for the first five minutes of the game, but Mizzou started to build a lead in the first quarter after a 9-0 scoring run. Abby Feit knocked down a three-pointer to cap off that scoring run, giving the Tigers a 14-7 lead.

Mizzou held a 20-15 lead in the second quarter after Hayley Frank drained a triple, but Kansas State started to rally after that. The Wildcats ended the first half on a 17-5 scoring run to take a 32-25 lead into the locker room.

After the break, Kansas State outscored Mizzou 52-31 in the second half to leave Saint Joseph with a 28-point win.

Feit made her first start as a Tiger in this contest and put together a good performance, scoring 13 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Frank also scored 13 points in this game and pulled down nine rebounds.

As a team, Mizzou only shot 29% from the field and posted 15 less rebounds than Kansas State.

Up next - Mizzou travels to face Illinois next Sunday, Dec. 17. Tipoff for that game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
