Mizzou unveils full 2024 football schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Football's full schedule for the upcoming 2024 season was released on Wednesday night. The Tigers will face eight SEC opponents and four non-conference opponents next season as Texas and Oklahoma get set to join the SEC for the first time in 2024.

The SEC will not have divisional standings next season, and instead, the top two teams in the conference standings will play in the SEC Championship Game.

Mizzou's non-conference opponents include: Murray State, Buffalo, Boston College and UMass. The Tigers' SEC opponents include: Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Auburn, Alabama, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Mississippi State and Arkansas.

Eli Drinkwitz and company will kick off the 2024 season at Faurot Field against Murray State on Aug. 31, and Mizzou's first road contest will be on Oct. 5 at Texas A&M.

The Tigers' SEC opener will be held at Memorial Stadium against Vanderbilt on Sept. 21.

Mizzou's conference schedule also includes a road contest against Alabama on Oct. 26, which is just the second time in program history that the Tigers will travel to Tuscaloosa, and a home matchup with former Big-12 Conference rival Oklahoma on Nov. 9. Mizzou's game against the Sooners at Memorial Stadium will be the first time since 2011 that those two teams played each other.

Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 19 against Auburn.
