Mizzou Men’s Golf secures spot in NCAA Stanford Regional

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

For the first time in program history, Mizzou Men's Golf has sealed a third consecutive NCAA Tournament bid. The Tigers earned an at-large invitation to compete at the NCAA Stanford Regional.

This will be MU's 17th appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 1989, and their first trip to an NCAA regional since the Tigers took 7th place at the NCAA Morgan Hill Regional last season.

Mizzou will be the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Stanford Regional this season, competing against Florida State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Stanford, UCLA, Illinois, SMU, Fresno State, UNLV, Augusta, Liberty, Sacramento State and Siena.

NCAA Stanford Regional action is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 13 and be completed by Wednesday, May 15. The top five programs from this region after all three rounds will advance to the championship round scheduled to start on Friday, May 24.
