Sunday Sit-down with Mizzou women’s basketball coach Robin Pingeton

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ABC 17 Sports Director Nathalie Jones joined Mizzou women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton at Mizzou Arena in this week's edition of Sunday Sit-down.

The two recapped the 2021-22 season, while also looking ahead to what's next. Pingeton said she is excited about the group she has for 2022-23, which features eight new players.

"I've been very impressed with the standard that they have set for themselves. I just, I'm really excited about the work I've seen in the offseason. I'm excited about what's in front of us," she said. "As fans come out they're gonna see a team that has uncommon connectivity and they're just gonna work. They're gonna be blue collar and they're just gonna be relentless. I think when you have the blend of those two, you have a chance to do some pretty special things."
