Mizzou alum Evan Boehm returns to Columbia as part of the Tigers football staff

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou offensive lineman and NFL veteran Evan Boehm has joined the Mizzou football support staff as the assistant director of recruiting/player relations.

Boehm, a Lee's Summit native, set a Mizzou football school record with 52 consecutive starts along the offensive line.

He started 12 games at guard as a true freshman in 2012, earning Freshman All-American honors. Before the 2013 season, he moved to the center spot, starting 40 consecutive games over the next three seasons. Boehm was a member of Mizzou's 2013 and 2014 SEC East Division champion teams.

The Arizona Cardinals selected Boehm in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He appeared in 55 career NFL games, starting games at both center and guard over his six-year career.
