Mizzou drops Sunday finale to Omaha

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team ended its series with Omaha in a tie after a 9-3 loss on Sunday.

The Tigers trailed the majority of the game, but managed to tie it up at three going into the ninth inning.

However, MU's bullpen could not hold off the Mavericks, as they scored six runs to put the game away.

Up next - Mizzou will make the trip to Frisco, Texas to compete in the Frisco College Baseball Classic on March 4.
