Mizzou wrestling previews top-25 matchup at the Hearnes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou wrestling team will compete in its highest-ranked matchup at the Hearnes Center in nearly three years on Saturday, as No. 17 Northern Iowa and No. 10 Virginia Tech come to town.

The Tigers will take on the Panthers of Northern Iowa first. This is the 10th-consecutive year the two schools have faced off. Following that dual, Mizzou will meet the Hokies. That dual will feature ranked bouts in seven weight classes.

"We love the big match atmosphere. I mean, we've had some great home duals here in the history," head coach Brian Smith said.
