Final Four fans flock to dome in return of open practices

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The first open Final Four practices since 2019 had fans flocking to the Superdome to get a free and up-close view of coaches and players. Many were there to get a glimpse of Duke coach Mile Krzyzewski in the final days of his storied career. Fans lined up outside the Superdome before gates opened and the first ones in rushed to the front, some remaining for more than three hours before Duke practiced early in the afternoon. Villanova and New Orleans native Caleb Daniels were the first team to practice, followed by Kansas, North Carolina and the Blue Devils. The practices were followed by a college All-Star game in which UConn guard Tyrese Martin with 22 points
