One of the most sought-after bats in the transfer portal, this offseason, is Columbia bound.

Catcher Seojun Oh announced on his social media that he is committing to head coach Kerrick Jackson and the Tigers, after one season at High Points. Oh, a native of South Korea, may have only spent one year as a Panther, but he made the most of it. The catcher started in all 56 games and ranked among the Top-5 on his team in 11 major squad categories, including slugging percentage (.668, hits (72), home runs (17), total bases (137), RBI (60), batting average (.351), on-base percentage (.448), runs scored (49)), doubles (15), walks (36) and sacrifice flies (4).

As a result of his massive junior campaign, the power-hitter was tabbed as the Big South Player of the Year, as well as the Big South Newcomer of the Year, in 2026. He also earned the following weekly honors over the course of his junior season: NCAA Lineup of the Week, Baseball America's National Team of the Week, D1 Baseball's Week 12 No. 47 Catcher and Big South Player of the Week.

Before playing at High Points, Oh spent his first two collegiate seasons at New Mexico Military Institute, which is a junior college program. In those two seasons, he combined for a .369 batting average, 13 home runs, 18 doubles, five triples and 79 runs batted in.

Oh is now the 12th player to commit to Coach Jackson out of the transfer portal. You can find a full look at Mizzou's 2027 portal class below.
