Local athletes walk away from MSHSAA Track and Field Championships with a title
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Classes one through three wrapped up the first weekend of action at the MSHSAA Track and Field Championships at Adkins Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Three Mid-Missouri athletes captured state championships in the final day of weekend one.
As teams, the Eldon Mustangs' boys and girls squads both finished as the second place teams in class three.

CLASS 1
- Girls 4x800: 6th place - Paris (Sophia Crusha, Kaylee Johnson, Mairyn Kinnaman, Ava Crain)
- Boys 1600 meter: 3rd place - Paris' Landen Chapman
- Girls 3200 meter 6th place - Paris ' Mairyn Kinnaman
CLASS 2
- Girls 4x800: 6th place - Salisbury (Lydea Britt, Tori Ricketts, Julia Sloan, Addison Schiltz)
