Mizzou appoints search committee for athletic director hire

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou is taking its search for a new athletic director to the next level. The University announced the appointment of a search committee and the hiring of a firm to assist the committee in the hunt for a new leader.

TurnkeyZRG, a firm specializing in leadership recruitment in college athletics across the United States, will help Mizzou Athletics in the coming weeks.

“We’re seeking a leader who will support our coaches and student-athletes to achieve their championship goals,” University of Missouri President Mun Choi said in a press release. “Our fans and supporters in Missouri and beyond deserve the very best from Mizzou Athletics.”

Meanwhile, the search committee is made up of a mix of Mizzou officials, members of the Board of Curators, donors and more. You can find a full list of the members of the search committee below.
