QUESTION OF THE DAY: Who came out of the trade deadline better positioned for next year?
It hasn't happened often over the past 20 years but this year both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals were out of contention at the Major League Baseball trade deadline.
And both teams made moves that reflected that fact. The Cardinals traded away ace Jack Flaherty and the Royals traded pitchers for prospects.
Who made the better moves? Vote in the poll.
