Mizzou hoops lands opponents for inaugural SEC/ACC challenge

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's and women's basketball teams now know who they'll be facing in this years inaugural SEC/ACC Challenge.

Dennis Gates and company will be taking the trip to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers on Nov. 28 at 6 p.m., while Robin Pingeton's group will travel to Virginia on Nov. 30 at 4 p.m.

Last season, the Pitt Panthers finished 24-12 and 14-6 in the ACC. The team made it the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament before falling to Xavier.

Virginia started last season with 12 straight wins, but the Cavilers finished 15-15 overall and 4-14 against ACC opponents.
