Mizzou WBB picks up commitment from former Houston guard

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team added another new face on Monday afternoon, as former University of Houston guard De'Myla Brown committed to the Tigers.

Columbia will be Brown's fourth collegiate home. She also played for Western Kentucky and Illinois and, most recently, Houston. In her time with the Cougars in Houston, she averaged 5.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and about 17 minutes per game.

Brown is one of a few off season pick ups for head coach Robin Pingeton. That list includes 6-foot-5 Croatia-native Lucija Milkovic, former UMass forward Angelique Ngalakulondi and former Evansville forward Abby Feit.

Pingeton is also bringing in quite a few freshman, as well, including Grain Valley standout Grace Slaughter, Jefferson City alum Hannah Linthacum and a power forward out of Germany, Hilke Feldrappe.
