Robin Pingeton makes new additions to coaching staff

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton announced two new additions to her coaching staff Wednesday naming Preston Beverly as an assistant coach and Julia Ford as a special assistant to the head coach.

Beverly brings over 15 years of experience to the staff as he joins the Tigers following two seasons as the head coach of Evangel where he led the Valor to consecutive appearances in the Heart Tournament Quarterfinals. Prior to his joining Evangel, Beverly served as the head coach 16U and 14U Nike Girls EYBL Teams in New York. He also served as an assistant coach for the 17U team where he coached four ESPN Top 50 recruits.

On the other hand, Ford joins the program from Coastal Carolina where she worked as an assistant coach last season. Prior to her time in Conway, South Carolina, Ford served as a graduate assistant for two seasons at Clemson.
