Mizzou guard Katlyn Gilbert enters the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou women's basketball guard Katlyn Gilbert becomes the third Tiger to enter the transfer portal, as confirmed by a team spokesperson.

Gilbert spent one season at Mizzou starting in eight games. She averaged 4.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Gilbert's best game this season came at Auburn when she put together 14 points, four steals and five rebounds.

Before her time at MU, Gilbert spent three seasons at Notre Dame. She becomes the third MU player to enter the portal following guard Lauren Hansen and forward Jayla Kelly.
