Mizzou center Jayla Kelly becomes second Tiger in the portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou women's basketball center Jayla Kelly announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon that she has entered her name into the transfer portal. This makes her the second Tiger to do so after guard Lauren Hansen entered last week.

Kelly, the St. Louis Native, has spent three seasons in Columbia. Her best numbers came this past season averaging 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

Kelly started in 21 games this year and had a breakout performance in a home game at the end of January against Tennessee putting up 14 points and nine rebounds. She missed time in February with an injury.

The 6'3" center enters the portal with one year of eligibility remaining.
