WATCH REPLAY: Battle girls top Hickman; Kewpie boys knock off Spartans

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Friday night basketball consisted of a big crosstown CMAC double header at Battle hosts Hickman. For the girls, Battle came out on top 57-50 and for the boys, the Kewpies put a comeback together to down the Spartans 64-61.

The Lady Spartans were led by Kaelyn Johnson with 23 points and Tayla Robinson with 15. Battle is now 18-6 on the season.

With the loss, the Hickman girls are now 19-5 on the year. Ashtyn Klusmeyer had 13 points and Jayla Griffith had 12.

In game two, the Hickman boys put an end to Battle's 11 game win streak winning 64-61.

Brock Camp led the Kewpies with 18 points and Isaiah Bonaparte added 13. Vernell Holt and Ethan Wiley both added 15 for the Spartans.
