Andy Reid’s two worlds collide in Super Bowl LVII

GLENDALE, Az. (KMIZ)

Andy Reid has spent over 24 seasons leading the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles becoming the first NFL head coach to post at least 100 wins with two franchises. In Super Bowl LVII, Reid is making his fourth appearance in the big game as he guns for his second Lombardi Trophy while playing against his old team.

"I had 14 great years there, I loved every minute of it," Reid said about his time in Philadelphia. "It was great to see the kids that we had drafted that are now these veteran, all-pro players on that team."

Reid has experienced fans in both cities and seeing them combine on the big stage is a surreal moment.

"They're passionate, they love football. I mean I can't wait until Kansas City and Philly clash, it's going to be awesome man," Reid said.

With Reid having strong connections to both organizations, his players in KC are just thankful that for this matchup Big Red will be on their side.

"Why am I always open? I say it all the time Andy Reid, baby," said tight end Travis Kelce. "Big Red, he can dial some stuff up at the right time."

"Coach Reid is a one of a kind talent when it comes to what he does offensively," said wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. "Every week there's some wrinkle or some trick play that we got."
