Mizzou women’s basketball gets ready for Braggin’ Rights matchup
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou women's basketball team has been working through finals week to get ready for the Braggin' Rights matchup with Illinois on Sunday.
"They've added a couple of key players in the transfers that have really elevated their program," Pingeton said. "I really don't see a lot of weaknesses on that roster so I think it's going to be a great test for us going into Christmas break."

With games being a little more spread out as the season progresses and players in the middle of finals, Pingeton said her team has had to make some adjustments.
"It is an adjustment just to get back to that practice mindset, but it's not as much time as you'd think because of finals week and so we actually took Monday and Tuesday off," Pingeton said. "Even though we only have one game it's a huge week because we do have a pretty good break after this game and if you lighten up too much this week, then you're looking at a two week period as not as much going into SEC play."
It became official earlier this week that senior forward Hayley Frank will be returning for a fifth year, Pingeton said the best way to describe Frank is incredible on and off the court.
"She's a great role model," Pingeton said. "We feel blessed to have her in our program and definitely have her back for another season."
The Braggin' Rights game with Illinois will be Sunday at Mizzou Arena at 4 p.m.
