Cougars have big night against College of the Ozarks

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia College men's basketball team had a big win Tuesday night taking down College of the Ozarks 85-64 at the Southwell Complex.

The Cougars were led by a good night down low from Collin Parker with 21 points and seven rebounds.

Tony Burks finished the night with 15 points and eight boards, plus point guard Trendon Tisdale had 14 points and six assists.

As a team, CC shot above 47% from the three-point line and the defense forced 11 turnovers holding the Bobcats to just 19 points in the first half.

Columbia College is now 9-4 so far this season. Next, the Cougars will take on Webster University at home Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
