The threes continue to fly as Mizzou WBB takes down UMass

TEMPE, Az. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team had another hot game from beyond the arch taking down UMass 71-66 in the Arizona State Classic on Saturday.

The Tigers were once again led by Lauren Hansen with 23 points, which is her second straight with over 20.

The Tigers made a season-high 15 threes, shooting 15-of-32, nearly 47% with only 14 points coming in the paint.

Hayley Frank had 16 points and five rebounds in the win, plus Jefferson City alum Sarah Linthacum had a career best 13 rebounds along with seven points.  Mama Dembele recording a season-high seven assists.  

The Tigers move to 8-1 on the season.

Up next - Mizzou will take on the home team Arizona State Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
