Hansen helps Mizzou WBB get back in the win column

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

After taking the first loss of the season against No. 11 Virginia Tech, the Mizzou women's basketball team got back in the win column at Mizzou Arena Wednesday night against Saint Louis.

The Tigers were powered by Lauren Hansen with 24 points shooting 6/11 from the three-point line.

Mizzou was hot from three all night against SLU shooting 14/27 which is over 51% from downtown.

Hayley Frank had 14 points on the night with five rebounds. Mama Dembele played her first game back at home since injury having nine points, five assists and three steals.

Up next - Mizzou will head to Arizona this weekend for the Arizona State Classic. The first game of the classic will be Saturday at 4 p.m. against UMass followed by Arizona State on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
