Columbia College men’s hoops gets comeback win in Thanksgiving Classic

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia College men's basketball team kicked off the Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Classic Friday night with a 71-61 win over Bellevue University.

The Cougars trailed at the half 32-26, but a 45 point second half led by Tony Burks sealed the deal.

Burks finished the night with 41 points followed by Collin Parker with 17 points and three steals.

Up next - CC will be back in action Saturday at 3 p.m. against Baptist Bible College.
