RECAP: Mizzou defense salvages a win, despite offensive struggles

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team came close to letting a win slip through their fingers on homecoming at Faurot Field, but the defense made a big stop on fourth down to stop the Vanderbilt Commodores from charging down the field with about a minute left.

The Tigers had more than 200 yards of total offense in the first half, but struggled to must a little over 70 yards in the second.

"There's a lot of things that gotta get fixed and it's some really bad stuff, alright, head coach Eli Drinkwitz said. "But it's a lot easier to fix it after a win."

ABC 17 Sports Director Nathalie Jones recaps a tale of two much different halves at Memorial Stadium in the video player above.
