Mizzou women’s basketball picks up big recruit

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball class of 2023 picked up a commitment from one of the top targets in the region on Thursday. Quincy Notre Dame standout Abbey Schreacke verbally committed to the Tigers on her social media.

Mizzou offered the six-foot guard in July after she helped lead the Lady Raiders to a Class 2A state title in 2021, averaging about 25 points per game. Schreacke was also the girl's 2A Player of the Year in her junior season.

She plays basketball, volleyball, and softball at Quincy Notre Dame.
