Mizzou soccer tops Southern Illinois

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou soccer team scored three first half goals to cruise their way to a 3-1 win over Southern Illinois on Thursday night.

Grace Pettet, Leah Selm, and Hannah Boughton all found the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of play. Boughton's header was her first-career goal as a Tiger.

MU goalie Bella Hollenbach recorded five saves in the win.

Up next - the Tigers will make the trip up to Nebraska to face Omaha on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
