Tolton baseball punches ticket to first-ever state championship game

OZARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Tolton baseball team will meet Springfield Catholic in the program's first-ever state championship game, after a 6-3 win over Lawson on Wednesday.

The Trailblazers trailed by three runs headed into the fourth inning, but key hitting from JC Putnam, Justus Martin, Andrew Green, and others gave them the 6-3 lead.

Up next - Tolton will do battle with Springfield Catholic at U.S. Ballpark on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
