Cardinals split two-game series with Blue Jays

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

The St. Louis Cardinals split a two-game series with the Blue Jays to start the week at Busch Stadium.

In game one on Monday, the Cardinals won on a walk-off grand slam from Paul Goldschmidt in the 10th inning to secure the 7-3 victory.

Game two was a different story for St. Louis. The Cardinals didn't score until the seventh inning and fell to Toronto 8-1.

The Cardinals end the series at 24-19 on the season just behind the Brewers in the conference who are 26-16.

Up next - The Cardinals will take on the Brewers in a four-game series at Busch Stadium starting Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
