Mizzou baseball goes big over SEMO in the last midweek home game of the season

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou baseball got the job done against SEMO winning 9-3 in the final midweek home game of the season Tuesday night.

MU scored in every inning except two, starting off on the board first in the second.

Trevor Austin had a homerun in the fourth inning extending the lead 4-2.

Fox Leum extended the lead late in the game with back-to-back homers in the seventh and eighth innings to drive in four total runs and get the lead 9-3.

This is the 38th time the two have met with the Tigers holding the all-time series lead, 24-14, over the Redhawks.

Up next, MU will play on the road in a series against Ole Miss starting Friday at 6:30 p.m.
