Only three returners left after Mizzou guard Amari Davis enters transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

MU guard Amari Davis announced Monday that he has entered the transfer portal meaning that as of now, the Tigers have three players from last year on the roster.

Davis averaged 9.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game this past season.

The 6-foot-2 guard transferred to Mizzou from Green Bay where he was the Horizon League Freshman of the Year in 2019-20.

He dominated in Green Bay averaging 17. 1 points, finishing the year with 32 steals and ranked fourth in the Horizon League in points per game as a sophomore.

With Davis in the portal, that means only three member's of last year's team remain on the roster in Kobe Brown, Kaleb Brown and Ronnie DeGray III.
