No. 22 LSU completes sweep over Mizzou baseball

BATON ROUGE, La. (KMIZ)

The No. 22 LSU baseball team downed Mizzou 8-6 on Saturday to complete the three-game sweep against Mizzou.

Head coach Steve Bieser and company consistently played the other Tigers close, with each loss coming by two runs or less. In Saturday's loss, Helias Catholic alum Trevor Austin had the game-high four RBI.

Pitcher Austin Marozas was charged with his second loss of the season. He tossed for five innings with three strikeouts and six earned runs allowed.

Up next - Mizzou will return to Missouri, but head south to Springfield on Tuesday to meet Missouri Statet at 6:30 p.m.
