Contract details released for Mizzou men’s basketball assistant coaches

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Through a records request on Tuesday, ABC 17 received contract details for Mizzou men's basketball assistant coaches, Charlton Young and Dickey Nutt.

As associate head coach, Young will make $600,000 yearly on a three-year contract that runs through April of 2025.

In Nutt's assistant coach deal, he is signed on with the Tigers for one year, through April of 2023 for $165,000.

Both Young and Nutt will receive a courtesy automobile or a monthly vehicle stipend of $500 and free tickets to home athletic events for Mizzou.

Both coaches can also get a 2% bonus for an SEC Tournament title and a 15% bonus for a national championship.

Gates's contract includes $915,000 for three assistant coaches meaning there is $150,000 remaining for another hire.
