Mizzou gymnastics punches ticket to National Championships
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou gymnastics team did not let its historic season come to an end on Saturday afternoon, as the group punched a ticket to the NCAA National Championships in Fort Worth, Texas.
It all came down to the final gymnast's score, as MU waited in the wings. But, the Tigers just edged out UCLA, finishing with a 197.425 to the Bruin's 197.400.
With the top two finish, MU will be making the trip to Texas to compete in the semifinals on April 14. The Tigers will be facing No. 3 Michigan and the top two finishers in the Auburn Regional Final.
