Four Mid-Mo basketball teams advance to state quarterfinals

Four local high school basketball teams advanced to the state quarterfinals with playoff wins on Tuesday night.
CLASS FOUR GIRLS
- Helias 70 | California 55 FINAL
- Hallsville 59 | Orchard Farm 55 FINAL
CLASS FOUR BOYS
- Tolton 76 | Fair Grove 58 FINAL
- Mexico 61 | St. Charles West 48 FINAL
All four teams will now play in the Class 4 state quarterfinals on Saturday. Here's the schedule:
CLASS FOUR GIRLS
- Helias vs. Ava at Lebanon HS on Saturday at 2:45 p.m.
- Hallsville vs. John Burroughs at Francis Howell Central HS on Saturday at 1 p.m.
CLASS FOUR BOYS
- Mexico vs. Vashon at Francis Howell Central HS on Saturday at 2:45 p.m.
- Tolton vs. Willow Springs at Lebanon HS on Saturday at 2:45 p.m.
Also this weekend - two local boys basketball teams will play in the Class 1 Final Four in Springfield, Mo.
CLASS ONE BOYS
St. Elizabeth vs. South Iron at the Hammons Student Center on Friday at 6 p.m.
Wellsville-Middletown vs. Stanberry at the Hammons Student Center on Friday at 8 p.m.
