Mizzou women’s basketball gets back in win column against Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 66-52 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores on Thursday night. It was MU's first SEC road win of the season.

The Tigers handled business in the Music City with four players hitting double-digit point totals. Lauren Hansen led the team with 15 points, along with four rebounds. Hayley Frank was right behind her with 13 points on the night.

The SEC's leading rebounder Aijha Blackwell finished with another double-double, 12 points and 17 rebounds.

Up next - Mizzou will return home to host Texas A&M on Sunday at 5 p.m.

Also on Thursday - the No. 9 Mizzou wrestling team beat No. 20 Oklahoma 23-14.
