Mizzou men’s basketball announces schedules changes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team will play four games in an eight-day stretch to make up for a COVID-19 postponement earlier in the season.

In January, Mizzou had to postpone its matchup with Mississippi State due to COVID-19 concerns within the program. The game will now be played on Feb. 20. That means MU will be meeting the Bulldogs in back-to-back games, as the Tigers will also now play on Feb. 18.

The schedule for Mizzou's eight day stretch is as follows:

  • Feb. 15 - at home versus Arkansas
  • Feb. 18 - at Mississippi State
  • Feb. 20 - at home versus Mississippi State
  • Feb. 22 - at home versus Tennessee

The change in scheduling allows for all 14 SEC teams to each play 18 conference games with a balance of home and away games during the 2022 season.

Tickets previously sold for the Jan. 5 matchup against Mississippi State will be honored at the rescheduled game on Feb. 20.
