The Tigers were on a brief pause due to COVID, as the program had to postpone its matchup with Mississippi State, which was originally supposed to be played on Jan. 5.

MU last played in a 27-point loss to No. 18 Kentucky on Dec. 29, which put the team at 6-7 overall. The game against the Wildcats was Mizzou's fifth loss by 20 points or more this season. However, three of the Tigers last five opponents have also been ranked in the AP Top-25.

Mizzou and the Crimson Tide tip off at 2:30 on Jan. 8 at Mizzou Arena.
