Mizzou women’s hoops beats Auburn in OT

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team won its second straight overtime matchup on Thursday night. The Tigers pulled away at the end to beat Auburn 72-63 in OT.

LaDazhia Williams scored a game-high 25 points and brought down 7 rebounds. Former Auburn standout Lauren Hansen scored 17 points for MU. Hayley Frank added 15 points as well.

Aijha Blackwell returned to the lineup after missing Mizzou's last game against No. 1 South Carolina. The junior standout finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds. She became the 38th member of the 1,000 point club at MU.

MU is now 13-2 overall and 2-0 in SEC play. Up next - the Tigers will play at Arkansas on Sunday at 2 p.m.
