Mizzou wraps up exhibition play; regular season around the corner

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team wrapped up exhibition play with a 55-point win over Southwest Baptist at Mizzou Arena.

Junior guard Aijha Blackwell had a double-double with a team-high 21 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Hayley Frank and freshman Izzy Higginbottom tied for second in points with 16 on Wednesday night.

Higginbottom had a standout preseason for the Tigers, as the Arkansas-native combined for 29 points through two outings.

Mizzou's regular season will start at home on Nov. 11 against the Racers of Murray State. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
