Mizzou WBB gets set for season

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team is preparing for the 2021-22 season. We spoke with head coach Robin Pingeton and several players on Monday.

MU is coming off two straight nine win seasons. Coach Pingeton said her team is motivated to get this program back to its winning ways. The Tigers have not been to the NCAA Tournament since the 2018-19 season.

"I am thankful for the last two years," Pingeton said. "It might sound crazy, and it wasn’t fun going through it, but I truly believe that going through that adversity will propel us to a place that we couldn’t have gone without it."
