Mizzou football gets set to host SEMO

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team will host SEMO on Saturday at 11 a.m. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz previewed the matchup with the Redhawks on Monday afternoon.

The Tigers are 4-0 all-time against SEMO, including a 50-0 win back in 2019.

Mizzou is 1-1 after losing its SEC road opener to Kentucky this past Saturday.

We spoke with Mizzou defensive coordinator Steve Wilks on Tuesday. He said he takes full responsibility for the Tigers poor play on the defensive side of the ball. MU ranks 127th in rushing defense through two weeks.
