Mizzou football gets set for SEC opener

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team will open up SEC play on the road against Kentucky on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The Tigers snapped a five-game losing streak to the Wildcats last season at Faurot Field. MU has not won a game at Kroger Field since 2013.

MU is 1-0 after its 34-24 win over Central Michigan on Saturday. Meanwhile, UK is also 1-0. The Wildcats beat Louisiana-Monroe 45-10 in Week 1.

The Wildcats are led by graduate transfer quarterback Will Levis. The former Penn State standout was 18/26 for 367 yards and four touchdowns in UK's opener last week.
